MMR Shot

Yesterday Brody had his 15 month check-up. Everything looks good with Brody and he is performing at an 18 month level. I already could have guessed that considering that everyday he becomes more and more independent. This was the very first appointment that his daddy missed and we were very lonely without him. Also, he received his very first MMR shot and of coarse he had a reaction to it when I was all by myself. When I called his daddy he said bring him to me right now, so that is were we went. Casey was waiting at the front with benadryl in hand. After we got home Brody napped for a very long time and when he woke up the swelling was down and both him and I felt so much better.

I know that every kid needs to be vaccinated, but when they have a reaction to them it makes you question your decision.
